The pharmaceutical business of the company began with
manufacturing tablet & liquid formulation of allopathic
drugs. In the past decade, Chemosyn has expanded its product
range into phyto-pharmaceutical products and also has
established an in house extraction facility. At present the
company has 2 manufacturing units.

Vapi
Chemosyn Limited has a manufacturing facility at Vapi, 170 km from Mumbai, spanning over a 14 acre land with a built up area of 42,000 sq ft. The current activities at Vapi include:
1. Schedule M approved tablets department that can conform to G M P & W H O norms.
2. Liquid line commencing production in February, 2009 in line with GMP/WHO norms.
3. Extraction facility complaint to GMP norms.

Chemosyn manufactures phyto formulations under its group concern Surajmani Enterprise.
This is a dedicated facility for phyto pharmaceutical products in the following dosage forms

R&D |
|
Chemosyn Limited has established a Research and Development facility under the name Chemosyn research centre at Vapi about 170 km from Mumbai in Gujarat state. The current R&D activity include formulation of allopathic drugs, phyto pharmaceutical products and lately even food products. The company’s R&D has equipments to carry out scale up batches in the R&D facility itself. |
